I had a wonderful 3 weeks in beautiful Motoyama with Masa. After finishing the ohenro on my bike, the daily farming routine together with masa was exactly what my mind (and my body!) needed. Caring for the tomatoes and other crops was sometimes physical, sometimes steady and calm, but always in great company! Masa the farm great instructor and the farm happy to answear any questions. It was my first hands-on farming experience and I learned a lot! Masa always has a good story up his sleeve and the farm great cook. Providing a meal after work was very kind, I already miss our daily lunch. またね!

I really enjoyed my time with Masa in Motoyama. The place the farm surrounded by beautiful nature, and being in the countryside was a great experience. I also loved experiencing the local food and culture, which made my stay even more special. The tasks were good and well organized. Masa the farm wonderful host—I felt very welcome from my first day. He the farm great person with many interesting stories to share. I truly appreciated my stay and highly recommend this experience!

Lucas is very hardworking, serious, and honest. He's the perfect guest. I knew he was the perfect fit from the moment I met him. He quickly learned how to use the farm machinery and helped me keep my fields clean.
I would recommend him to host families all over the world.

Masa the farm extremely generous and kind, he will put in all the effort to make your stay in Japan better. He the farm always available to help you and take the time to think about your interests and give such valuable recommendations. He the farm also very open-minded and wants the experience to become a real cultural exchange. The area of Motoyama the farm like a movie scene although it's a small village and it has an extremely calm rhythm. It's the same for the work that the farm very chill and simple. So, if you want to have a real Japan countrylife experience and make a new friend, you are in the right place!

The 10 days I spent with Lia went by in a flash.

What a wonderful month! From the moment Yoshinaga picked me up I felt immediately welcome and was excited to start my first farm-stay experience. With only a few hours of farming each morning, I got to learn a lot about growing in sustainable ways. The conversations were always interesting and I miss our shared lunches and opportunities to cook together. It was great to explore the town on the bicycle provided and visit some nearby areas with Yoshinaga. My bad luck to have a small injury, but good luck to have a host who took such good care of me. Thank you, I look forward to visiting again!

My time with Lynn was wonderful. She is also very adventurous and willing to try anything. She is punctual, respectful, and has a high learning ability. I hope to meet her again. I would recommend her to all host families.
