Motoyama is a place where you can live quietly and have fun.
This is not a tourist spot. It's a small rural village.
Hello. My name is Yoshinaga. My English is at a beginner level. I will do my best to talk to you. My family is my wife and dog.
My family runs an organic farm. The main crops we grow are delicious vegetables such as tomatoes. I always think about good lifestyle and world peace.
This region has many old and historic rice terraces and a mountainous environment surrounding a beautiful river. A wonderful environment for nature lovers.
The work includes general agricultural work such as harvesting and shipping vegetables, washing vegetables, planting seedlings, weeding, and pruning.
Please work with me on various jobs in the countryside. The work is easy, safe and you can learn a lot.
you work about 20 hours a week. From 8:00 a.m. or 8:30 a.m. until noon.
Let's eat lunch together for free after work. The afternoon is free time. 1 week 2 days off.
We will provide you with free rice. You buy the rest of the food (there is a farmers market, supermarket, and konbini nearby)
You make breakfast and dinner for yourself.
The volunteer house is next to my office. The volunteer house is a small, hand-built room made from a renovated greenhouse. Free use of separate bedroom, kitchen, washing machine, hot shower, composting toilet, wood stove, Wi-Fi and bicycles.
In my free time, I enjoy walking on the river or in the mountains, reading books, playing musical instruments, swimming, fishing, kayaking, and hiking. If you have time, enjoy your hobby with me!
We are offering invitations to only one group. That is, only one person or a pair. The reason is that I would like to have a leisurely relationship with her. And I want to hear from you.
Sometimes you will have the opportunity to interact with the locals. Experience our culture.
Perhaps this experience would not be possible on a short trip.
We have a friendly and relaxed approach, giving you plenty of time and energy to enjoy your surroundings. In exchange for your help, we will provide you with good service and great experience. The nature of Motoyama is waiting for you.
Let's create a page of memories in the countryside of Shikoku.
*sorry. Vegans and vegetarians are not accepted.
Arigatou Yoshinaga.
My name is Yoshinaga. In Japan, we call people by adding "...san" at the end of their names. In other words, you can call me "Yoshinaga-san."
I'm a farmer. And the religion is "Shinto".
They respect nature and will eat anything. And I hope for a peaceful world.
