Sandra and Angel are amazing! They have a lot to teach you and are really open to learn from your culture and experiences. They will for sure make you feel like part of the family. Expect to be in contact with nature all the time, there is a nearby river and some other activities to enjoy.

Had an absolutely amazing experience during my time at the lodge! It was a lovely place to stay and so many cool things to look at around the property. It was also cool getting more hands on experience, planting a field, clearing limbs and gardening. Also had a blast going to the river and town (almost) everyday, such a nice tight knit community. And Sandra's cooking skills🤤 Never once had a bad meal during our stay! Only thing i wish was different was that we could help out more! Angel and Sandra are wonderful hosts and i would definitely recommend the experience to anyone interested.

Excellent host, very welcoming loved the new experiences gardening and with the goats, and just enjoying your lovely casa being in a different environment’s with nature, and helping in anyway possible. Very Inspiring culture and way of living. The food was also very amazing! I wish to be able to stay longer! It was a pleasure being a guest with you!

If you are looking for a place in nature away from the city noise, you will enjoy staying at the finca! I spent 2 weeks with Sandra and Angel. I was the only volunteer during
that time, so I also spent a lot of time by myself in the afternoons but it allowed me to unwind a bit after traveling for a while and to order some thoughts :) In the mornings after breakfast I would help with some tasks, mostly with paining the house and some
gardening. Sandra also showed me how to make Tamales and Empanadas which was a lot of fun!

Sandra and Angel are really accomodating and kind. I can't speak any Spanish, but Angel and Sandra were really patient with me and they were happy to use translate when I needed it. The work we did at the lodge varied including construction, gardening and animal care. I would recommend using your initiative on jobs that need to be done in the morning as there were no explicit instructions. However, the morning routine was always the same. Overall, I loved my 2 weeks at the lodge. It was a lot of fun, super peaceful and Angel and Sandra are awesome!
