The Experience

I have a property that sits on a site just short of an acre. For the past 10 years we raised livestock and grew most of our own food. He sadly didn't survive long illness and I am flying solo. Currently we have no livestock and I let the fodder field lay fallow this year. Help is needed in the human part of the garden with crops and landscaping, also I am continuing with our renovations an extra pair of hands is sometimes needed.

Tracey was the best host I could ever meet. She is so funny and open minded. We even talked about how we agreed she has a young soul and you feel she is in her 20's. I could talk about so many things with her while I was practicing my english. She is a GREAT cook and I really enjoyed the meals she prepared for me. She was really flexible and the task were easy. By the way the cats were so lovely. I definitely recommend this place if you want to disconnect your mind and have peace surrounded by nature for a few days.

Tracey is a great host who taught me a lot. She is a great cook and helped me learn some of the basic things about gardening even though it was winter. It was a really interesting experience and defenitly recommend this host to other travellers who want to experience the farm a different way.

Tracey was the most lovely host and made me feel most welcome! I loved the dynamic and varietal nature of the tasks we worked on together around her the farm. I would highly recommend to those looking to experience village life the farm!

It was good first experience. Tracy was great host (and very good cook).:) Everything was as she promised. She was flexible about our proposals and gave us space for our own ideas.
