From the moment I got there, I felt so welcomed— Neri and Diana are incredible and super friendly. The other volunteers made it even better; we became like a little family, working together, exploring Puerto Rico, and just vibing. Puerto Rico itself is unreal—the beaches, the music, the energy. There's something about this place that just makes you feel alive. Some of my favorite memories were just hanging out by the pool, meeting people from all over the world, and just exploring San Juan. You'll meet amazing people, have the best time, and probably never want to leave!

I had a wonderful time volunteering at the hostel, meeting amazing people and contributing to a welcoming environment for guests. However, after almost five months, I was asked to leave via text on the same day, with no prior warning or conversation. This was due to a misunderstanding with another volunteer, and it caused me a lot of stress and frustration as I had to find a place to stay last minute. The team later apologized, but it was too late by then. This is simply a warning not a discouragement to anyone.

My time at the hostel was/is great- from the property, volunteer living conditions, and work tasks! The work amount is very fair. The volunteer space is nice and clean. I feel very comfortable in the environment. Neri, Krys, and Diana are welcoming and respectful. I have done work exchange in other hostels in Puerto Rico and this has definitely been my favorite. They are very flexible and understanding. I signed up for one month, was able to leave for two weeks and return for an extended stay. I would definitely recommend!

We have greatly enjoyed having Morgan on our team and would recommend her to any other volunteer experience!
She is organized, responsible, detail-oriented with a great personality!
She understands the assignments in reception and is a fast learner, overall a well rounded person!
Morgan, thank you for staying with us and come back whenever you want! :)

I had a wonderful time at the hostel! The environment was very welcoming and everyone was friendly. I easily made friends with the other volunteers and it's a small hostel so I got to know a few of the guests as well. Krys was so helpful during training, she explained everything in detail until I felt comfortable with all the reception tasks. I'm so sad my time at the hostel has come to an end, but I'm beyond grateful for the amazing experience!

I originally planned to volunteer at the hostel for one month, but I loved it so much I extended my stay! The experience was incredible, thanks to the amazing team—Kris, Neri, and Diana—who are organized, supportive, and make you feel appreciated. I stayed at the Calle Loíza location, which was perfect—close to beaches, great restaurants, and San Juan's vibrant energy. The manageable schedule gave me plenty of time to explore Puerto Rico. the hostel's laid-back vibe, friendly community, and unbeatable location made this one of my best experiences. Highly recommend!
