The Experience

Volunteer with SenCLIP in this permaculture project in Senegal. The project will be on 1hectare farm in a rural village in Gandali, city Saly. We welcome volunteers and interns interested in contributing to an amazing community project. You will teach local children about permaculture, showing them how to grow food, fun a garden, plant and water trees. At the same time, you’ll help increase their awereness about the environment. Welcome!

Volunteers will contribute a program fee, $100 . For the participation in the placement, a $5 per day contribution will be required

The travel altogether was great because of the locals and the nature I could experience. Mouhamadou is a very welcoming person and a good guide and I am really thankful for that. Anyhow, I would have wished a little more thorough organization and communication, and a little less overstepping boundaries here and there, especially being a lone traveling woman.

Mouhamadou is a great host, easy going, responsable, openminded, enthusiastic....
He has a good project going, the interaction with the students,the discussions were really interesting, i learned a lot.
Mouhamadou, my host family, the students, they all made me feel very welcome.
Although Dakar can be hectic sometimes, i hope to be back soon.
I had a fabulous time, a great experience.
