Help us with greeting guests, entering reservations in the computer, handling money from reservations and the restaurant or for yoga classes all while enjoying spending your time outside in a beautiful tropical garden right on the lagoon of Bacalar.

At my arrival, the manager Fatima ask if I didnt mind staying in a tent a few days.. I was placed in a tent that was stinking dirty, no one ever gave me instructions on what to do even though I repeatedly ask. The volunteer feels absolutely more like a job than a volunteer! and they make you do extra tasks like cleaning bathrooms, moping, sweeping, washing dishes and on top of that doing the room maintenance, changing bedsheets. I spoke with Jorge the owner who was evasive. I was told couldnt laugh or speak with special guests ("higher class"). Hostile interaction, save yourself

Excelente lugar, los anfitriones muy amables y hospitalarios siempre al tanto de lo que necesitemos como voluntarios, las actividades no son difíciles además los compañeros tienen mucha paciencia para explicar como realizarlas.

Hacer voluntariado aquí es como vivir en el paraíso, por la ubicación frente a la Laguna. El equipo de trabajo; Fati la encargada, Isa cocinera y Juan cocinero también; excelentes personas. Respecto al tema del trabajo, me parece no equitativo lo que se realiza vs lo que se ofrece. Las actividades se sienten más como un trabajo de paga, que un intercambio. Al comienzo había poca organización, no tuve una introducción a lo que tenía que hacer, pero con el tiempo fui entendiendo la dinámica. Resumido; A pesar de trabajar tanto, regresaría una y mil veces . Gracias por todo!

The inn es el lugar perfecto para conectar con la naturaleza, practicar el inglés, aprender a realizar diferentes tareas y convivir con personas increíbles, Fati siempre está atenta a cualquier necesidad y situación, doña Isa siempre dispuesta a enseñarte a hacer las tareas dentro del hostal y la cocina, y el personal en general muy atentos en realizar mejoras, Jorge tiene una vibra increíble y sus clases de Yoga son las mejores, sin duda alguna una experiencia que me encantó y siempre llevaré conmigo. Sin duda alguna Bacalar es un lugar muy mágico❣️

Sin exagerar, este lugar por lejos ha sido mi mejor voluntariado, desde que llegue me sentí como en casa, me ofrecieron ayuda en todo lo que necesité, aprendí muchísimo en la cocina, probé comidas exquisitas, el hostel tiene una muy buena ubicación ,a la orilla de la laguna con uno amanecer de película, Fatima y todos quienes trabajan acá se volvieron mi familia. Volvería mil veces a este hermoso lugar 🫶🏾
