The Experience

We’ve recently built a wonderfully energy-efficient passive solar house, complete with off-grid solar for all our energy needs, rainwater collection for all our water needs, and a worm farm waste management system for natural black and grey water processing. We’re now working to progress the landscaping aspects of our project. We’d be very appreciative of a helping hand or two to help complete: a natural habitat pond, garden beds, and orchard.

I had a great time at Harmony House. Richard and Kerryn are lovely and welcoming hosts and they and the kids gave me the the feeling to be part of the family. We did quite a few nice trips together They have also been very obliging to help me getting a car and planning my further trip. The work was diversified and you have the feeling to have a true impact on the project. The working hours are well organized, but you still got the freedom to choose when to do the work. The food was very nice aswell:) The In general I would totally recommend staying at Harmony House as it is a great experience.
