I had a good time at the eco village 🌷 the vibe, the accommodation, the food and the people are very comforting - it's the perfect place to calm down, be far away from the busy cities and surround yourself with nature and animals (they have a lovely dog and a cat!). Working hours varied a bit but the overall working time was respected. The tasks and their impact on the environment were always explained with a lot of patience, I learned quite a lot! Thank you for this experience 🙏

The project is an incredible community for locals and travelers alike. You will have the chance to enjoy all sorts of tasks (e.g. planting, composting, cooking, cleaning), and activities (e.g. kayaking, hiking, meditation, visiting the nearby town). Most importantly, Miriam is incredibly accommodating and promotes a work philosophy centered on individual needs and traits. The result is a fantastic community where all members (i.e. guests and volunteers) feel included and respected. I hope to be back soon!

My experience at the project was absolutely perfect; Miriam is a wonderful being that makes you feel at home in a heartbeat; everything works in very organic way with an amazing flow of energy. I am only grateful for the experience and hope I'll be able to make it for the one year anniversary of the Vila in a couple of days :)))

Foi meu primeiro voluntariado e foi uma experiência incrível! A the eco village é um espaço lindo, em meio a natureza e muita calmaria, onde a gente aprende a compartilhar e a contribuir com o nosso melhor. É perto de lindas praias e rios. O trabalho é tranquilo de fazer, eu trabalhei com a terra, com a manutenção do espaço e também no preparo de refeições. A anfitriã Miriam é uma querida, tem muito o que aprender com ela e é bem aberta a conversas. Me senti em casa. Foi uma experiência muito enriquecedora.
