The Experience

We have a large Georgian house with an interesting, beautiful and very overgrown grounds made up of a Victorian water garden, woods, large lake and meadow. We need help in trying to restore these gardens to how they would have looked in Georgian times - 1820s. Also if you're interested we will be doing some lime painting and how it helps these old houses survive. Any questions please ask.

Natasha and Quentin are both such warm and welcoming hosts. Work hours are respected and meals were always amazing! The house and property are beautiful and the work on the property is fulfilling and I learned more about gardening as well which was amazing. I can't say enough how nice my stay here was, I enjoyed the walks on the grounds after work, reading and relaxing in the afternoons, amazing dinners from Natasha, and just taking in all the experience had to offer. I would highly recommend if you want a quiet stay with good hands on work experience!

The work hours were as agreed and the job is nice and enjoyable. I wish I could go back. The house and gardens are lovely. You won't regret coming here 😊

I stayed with Natasha and Quentin for 15 days, I had a really nice experience, I couldn't be more grateful, I love the dinner time, Natasha is a wonderful cooker beautiful conversations ,chats and few jokes from Quentin made every evening a unique experience, the work sometimes was a bit hard, but they were rewarding me with more cake or puddings hehe. So if you want more pudding you have to digg more haha The place is absolutely wonderful, at 7:40 at least on summer, you can watch beautiful colours in the sky with some horses on the background. Really grateful for the opportunity I 100% rec

My first experience at Worldpackers could not have been better. the home is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place. Natasha and Quentin are lovely people willing to help and teach. I learned about gardening, organization (they are impeccable!) and B&B care. I enjoyed it a lot and was very happy to see the result of my work. I already miss it and want to go back for a new experience in another season! And to make the experience even better, Natasha cooks very well!
