This was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't have had a better time. Miltos is very wise, kind and charismatic, he made the hostel feel like a home away from home. This was no doubt my favourite hostel experience ever! Miltos was very clear with expectations between him and the volunteers from the very start. Miltos and his partner Elena brought a warm inviting presence into the hostel and it was an honour to get to know them better. The work hours. etc were clear and very easy to follow. I will be definitely be coming back in the future! Ps: he makes the best food! efcharistó

My time in the hostel was exceptional. I was a bit apreensive with some less positive reviews but Miltos is just so nice and welcoming that all quickly vanished. The place is very social and open, great to interact with guests from all over. The location is perfect and allows for a cool vacation by the beach and in nature vibe. The work is extremely flexible and soft, basically just need to maintain the place and do some garden work. Batsi has a bus making it easy to reach and move around island. Really recommend people to go. TEXT ME if you want more information/have questions ✨️

Thank you Andreia. You were a breeze of resh air after my recent ordeal... I was questioning myself. The bottom line is that I AM ALWAYS THE SAME. WHAT CHANGES IS THE PEOPLE THAT COME HERE.
Good luck with all...

I had a wonderful time at the hostel. The hours flew by, between work and relaxing on the gorgeous beaches of Batsi (just a 10-15 minute walk away). I met some great people, shared some great memories and had the time of my life. I had very few issues with Miltos, although some of the other volunteers felt differently.

Thanks for coming. You made it very clear as I am always the same. People that come here differ. All the best.

I do not recommend this hostel or work exchange program to anyone. Miltos does not treat guests or volunteers with respect, and goes even further to be rude and inconsiderate. After 5 days, I ended my 3 month stay early because it was so rough. There was no pleasing Miltos is all of his requirements, rules, and objections. He likes to complain about past volunteers/guests and gets mad for no reason. This made my whole experience unbearable. If would like specifics, please feel to send me a message.

Hi Dustin,
Avoided to rate you with 1 star. You even complained that taxi drivers in Greece did not accept dollars. In a hole that was already dug you considered planting a tree heavy gardening job and gardening should be only flowers. When tried to talk to you regressed to profanities. Gusts and volunteers commented that you would not clean up your own things. All your tasks were completed by a 23 year old girl. I think even one star is too good for you. Good you left on your own...

The location and the people were great, but the work was poorly organised and the host is extremely temperamental and doesn't really respect personal space/privacy. Frankly, I don't recommend the experience to others
