From July to september, the preference is couples! Tasks: Cleaning the swimmingpool, cleaning communal spaces, like terraces and garden furniture, irrigation of the plants (semi automatic), cleaning/tidying the toys room, cleaning/tidying the reception area/ honesty bar/ coffee corner, changing towels when guests want fresh ones. You will stay in a Glamping Tent for 2p, with kitchen, shower, toilet right next to it.

We had an amazing experience here! The hosts are incredibly welcoming and treat volunteers just like their own guests, making you feel at home from day one.
The facilities for volunteers are excellent, with a luxurious tent, your own kitchen and private bathroom. If available, there is even the possibility of staying in one of the guest accommodations, which is a wonderful extra.

La the guest house is a great place to relax and get in touch with nature in the Portuguese countryside! Michele and Thomas work really hard to maintain the stunning enviroment of the retreat. The stay was so cozy and comfortable and a tasty lunch was made for us after work and it was so nice to have a car during our stay. Michele and Thomas are incredibly considerate and giving people :)

I had a lovely time at the guest house! Michelle is an amazing host and was always happy to answer our questions! Everything was really comfortable, and it really was the perfect place to come and just relax. The accommodation was great, we had sports equipment to use, a pool, and even a car! The area is also beautiful, Caldas is a really cute town, and there are so many other cool towns close by to explore! The work is really great too, you'll mostly work with Thomas, who is fun and chatty! He will cook the most amazing meals for lunch also, so grateful for the hospitality! Thankyou guys!

My first volunteer adventure didnt disapoint!! The hosts are amazing- Michelle is lovely and pizza nights with her and the kids are very enjoyable❤️ Thomas is a very smart person with a lot of life experience- it's really good to talk to him and he also cooks good😋 the region is very beautiful and full of locals- the only place you will meet tourists is nazare and lisbona.

I had a peaceful and memorable stay at the guest house. The work was light and flexible, mainly helping with cleaning, laundry, watering plants, and other small tasks. I appreciated having plenty of free time and access to a car to explore nearby places. Michelle was warm and supportive, especially after I injured my ankle, and I'm very grateful for her help. The accommodation is in a tent, so travelers should be comfortable with simple, nature-based living. Overall, it was a unique experience in the Portuguese countryside.
