I really enjoyed my stay with Char, get to get along with her and also meet really nice friends .
The house is amazing, the work is not hard and around the house you can do all the walking that you want. You just have to read again all the information when you apply so you can understand most of the rules.

I enjoyed my stay at the guest house. Everything was exactly as stated in the application and straight forward. The work was pretty easy once you learn how everything goes. Ms. Charlotte is a great person once you get to know her, she is direct and willing to answer questions.

Sierra Just want to say a big thank you for all your help which was really appreciated. You have a great attitude to life and that came through in how you takled the tasks set. I hope you have a great time with your dad when you meet up in Rome, and then go on to visit Poland. Once you get to Ireland for your next Worldpacker adventure please do keep in touch and remember you will be welcome back here anytime. You take care now and see you again sometime?

I enjoyed my time at the guest house and feel so grateful for the friends I made during my month stay 💚 Drumnadrochit is beautiful with lots to explore. The work is easy and satisfying. Owing to the manner of Charlotte's communication style I would unfortunately not suggest this as an experience for someone not confident in themselves. If you cannot handle criticism, being talked to bluntly and at times with condescension this is not for you. It is a shame as Charlotte can be very generous and kind, concerned about volunteers plans and offering help.

I enjoyed my time and all I learnt.

No problem pitty you might not have taken on board (before accepting) my detailed profile i.e. direct, assertive, very clear about tasks, try to re-establish that withwhatsapp video calls to ensure the correct choices are made, our volunteers know what will be expected and provided. keep to my promises, provide all I say & more, expect the same in return instead of tasks failing to meet standards set which upset me construed by you as a souce of negativity to comment on later, Good luck Kate

Staying at Kilmicheal was a great opportunity! The work was very manageable and the rooms were very nice. Charlotte can be a bit frustrating at times but is generally easy to work with and ensures you are well taken care of.

I stayed during the off season for about a month. The work was fair and straightforward, though there was not much to do at this time of the year. The area is beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed the loch and the walks nearby. The accommodation was comfortable and having three meals provided each day was very nice. Meal times would vary quite a bit and you wouldn't know when dinner would be until she texted that it was ready which made it difficult to manage your free time at night (but still very very generous). She is particular and will be very direct with you.
