The Experience

Hi There. We are a recently opened bioconstructed Glamping in a paradise beach with warm and calm waters. We are looking for help from 6pm to 10pm. The candidate will help us prepare and serve dinner, clean the kitchen, prepare drinks, talk to guests, pu t log on the fire, close the shift and leave everyhing rrady for next day breafast.

There were many pros and cons of this experience. The pros being nice people, beautiful beaches, and bio-construction experience. Regardless of the pros I cut my stay 2 weeks short because the “glamping” experience advertised online did not match the reality. As a person with ecology knowledge and lots of good travel under my belt I was surprised that this experience didn't work out. Upon arrival I experienced roaches, rat, mosquitoes, an apathetic host, and moldy pillows within my living spaces. Many of which are a health hazard which combined led me to cut my stay short.

Thank you for the feedback. I believe there was a misalignment of expectations and understanding. Unfortunally we cannot kill all the bugs and mosquitoes, as they are part of the enviroment.

O eco lodge foi um dos melhores lugares por onde já passei, o Alexandre, a Dani, o Cris são pessoas maravilhosas que fizeram com que nos sentíssemos em casa. Os horários de trabalho e o trabalho em si são como descritos na plataforma, super tranquilo e prazeroso e à tarde sempre íamos para praia que fica do ladinho. Foi maravilhoso poder conhecer a Ponta o eco lodge e a Barra do Cahy e não há palavras para descrever a perfeição do mar. Não poderíamos encerrar em um lugar melhor esse capítulo das nossas vidas. Gratidão demais!

Eu queria que existisse uma palavra pra descrever o quão incrível foi essa experiência no eco lodge, mas ficaria uma eternidade pensando e seria injusto resumir esse lugar e as pessoas em uma só palavra. O Alexandre e a Dani são pessoas tão tão tão boas, com uma energia sem igual que vou lembrar sempre com muito carinho, tornaram essa última (por enquanto) experiência na melhor que eu poderia ter. O trabalho é MUITO tranquilo, as horas passam sem que se perceba e muito menos que seja considerado um trabalho. Eu espero que todos tenham oportunidade de conhecer esse pedacinho do paraíso. ❤️

Foi meu primeiro voluntariado e não poderia ser melhor!! Os horários e as tarefas foram respeitados, e como não tinha hóspedes fiquei em uma das bacanas (barraca + cabana hahah) que são bem confortáveis e aconchegantes. o eco lodge é um paraíso, as praias são maravilhosas e ficavam ainda melhor com a companhia de pantera e penacho, os cachorros 💛 No mais, me senti super bem recebida pelo Alexandre e Dani, que cumpriram com todos os combinados daqui do WorldPackers! Um grande abraço para todos: Alexandre, Dani, Joyce, Cris, pantera, penacho e fucinho 💛
