Catania is amazing city in the heart of Sicily, and we would love to have you here to show around and have a really great time in our cozy Hostel in the city of Etna!! What should you do? Help to keep our place clean and friendly Check ins and check outs Dont be SHY!!! talk to our guests, be opened to learn new cultures. Help us to organize nice events for the guests, as PubCrawl, beachdays, cooking classes But the most important HAVE FUN!

I had the best time volunteering for the hostel, the expectations were set out clearly and the hours were respected, and there was nothing incredibly challenging. It's in a really central location too, and the days off allow for you to explore heaps of Sicily. Salvo and Reza were the best hosts and so kind to me during my stay, I was truly sad to leave, but I will definitely be back! I really couldn't recommend it enough ❤️

My stay at the hostel was a very valuable experience. I had the chance to meet people from all over the world, explore the whole of Sicily and experience the local culture. The hostel itself is located very close to the city center. If you're lucky, Salvo will take you to Mount Etna, which was one of my favorite experiences during the entire stay. Don't pack too many clothes; half of my backpack was clothes bought at the flea market for 1€. Salvo (the owner) is the sweetest person in the world; throughout my stay, I felt taken care of and safe. Thank you, Salvo and Reza for a great time!

This was my first time traveling by myself, and I'm so grateful to have had this experience. Both the volunteers and Reza and Salvo were always there to help and made me feel at home. I had a lot of fun working and living in the hostel and learned a lot about different cultures. Catania is also a perfect place to explore the island on your free days. Most shifts are very relaxed and the communication was always very good. Thankyou for everything. 🩷

My time at UrbanPop has been wonderful, truly one of the best months in my life. Salvo made me feel at home directly and is so generous and Reza is so funny. I am so thankful for them both and all the girls at the hostel! The work is fair and everything is communicated very clearly. This was my first volunteer experience and it was perfect. My only tip and I can't stress this enough, do not bring too much clothes because the flea market is amazing. If you have any questions feel free to write me!

This was an amazing hostel experience. From the moment I arrived Salvo made fell at home and I was instantly welcomed by the other volunteers. The work gets repetitive but honestly it didn't bother me at all. The energy of the hostel is amazing and salvo and Reza are two of the funniest and most enjoyable people to be around. Come ready to work and you'll do just fine.
