Working as a volunteer in Belém Hostel was my first experience as a worldpacker. I've had no idea what to expect and it's turned out great. People there are super nice and welcoming and you get to know so many different people from all over the world sharing their stories. I'd recommend staying and working there and just enjoy the Brazilian vibe. I'm so thankful having this opportunity m and am looking forward to coming back as soon as possible! ❤

Decepcionante. Eu já devia ter desconfiado e cancelado a estadia antes de chegar, pois a comunicação com o anfitrião Fernando já estava difícil desde o início. Ele é totalmente inacessível e incomunicável, pois não divulga o WhatsApp para ninguém e repassa toda a responsabilidade para as funcionárias. Também quase não aparece no hostel. Fiquei em um quarto com ar condicionado quebrado. Se eu não tivesse feito uma limpeza pesada o hostel estaria sempre imundo. Após um hóspede faltar com respeito comigo e eu o responder à altura, o anfitrião não quis diálogo e decidiu finalizar meu voluntariado.

Foi meu segundo voluntariado e não poderia ter sido melhor! fui mto bem recebida e orientada, as tarefas foram de simples execução, entre manter a organização e limpeza do hostel e recepcionar novos hóspedes. Fiz o turno da noite então a parte da recepção foi menor. Me senti em casa e fiz ótimas amizades. Tem trabalho, viu? Não é como se não houvesse rs, mas é flexível, dias com mais e dias com menos. Também tive ajuda quando precisei. Pra quem quer viver uma imersão em Belém, eu recomendo! Quem gosta de festa e de um agito, esse também é o lugar, pois é um hostel de pessoas animadas.

Foi ótima a experiência! Super tranquilo e organizado. O Hostel fica bem localizado e os funcionários são excelentes. Recomendo a compra de uns 2 ventiladores para as áreas comuns e quarto compartilhado para melhorar o conforto térmico de todos durante os dias quentes de Belém ☺️
