I liked working at the hostel. The tasks were clear, and Miguel made sure I got off when I had worked for four hours. He also easily changed the working hours from daytime to eveningtime or the other way around, according to when I had a tour or wanted to explore the island. Also the first night Miguel was so kind to show me around. I would recommend this work because it is perfect for combining working with exploring.

I had a great experience staying at Hostal the hostel! Fiorella and her family are so open and welcoming and made me feel right at home. The facilities are well taken care of and really clean. I worked 4 hours a day either in the morning or the afternoon. The work was easy and fun and mostly consisted in some cleaning, painting, decorating and helping out at the bar. You have lots of free time to explore the island, meet locals and other travellers or just relax at the beach. I was even invited to go out with Fiorella and her friends a few times. Highly recommend! I had such a lovely time😊

Fiorella and her family were so welcoming and kind to me, they were amazing hosts!! I did some cleaning, painting and occasionally worked in the bar in the afternoons. I also helped create decorations for the halloween party we threw which was super fun and cool. Had such a great time meeting so many locals and getting to know the island and the beautiful animals.

This was my first Worldpackers and I loved it! Bar de Beto is a sweet place to hang out and meet guests staying at the hostel. Fiorella is an awesome manager. She is understanding, knowledgeable about the island, and super sweet! My job included cleaning (mostly sweeping), creating decor for the bar, content creation etc. highly recommend. Good location too.

Absolutely loved my time volunteering at Hostel the hostel! Fiorella was so lovely to work with and really explained the tasks very thoroughly. The work was really fun, a mix of bar work, cleaning, painting and helping with decorations for the upcoming party. The bar and hostel facilities are really great and felt right at home. Would really recommend to anyone wanting to experience life on Isla Isabela, as there's heaps of free time to explore the island. ☺️
