I had a fantastic time at Santiago Hiroshima. Everyone was so welcoming and it felt like home from day one. I was able to meet and chat with many locals and travellers during my stay. It was a great experience to explore and live in such a historic city. Im happy for every interaction i had and what I've learnt about hospitality will be a great asset. Thank you everyone!

It was a excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming from the first day I arrived. It felt like a second family as I volunteered here.

My first experience doing a Worldpackers experience and it generally was a good one. The work wasn’t strenuous and the hours were unreal. All the people there from long term guests to helpers and full time staff were quality people. Facilities are great and rooms are good, with the curtains being the biggest sell.

The main problem I had was there is a huge bed bug issue in the place that’s been an issue for many months, despite the work put in to get rid of them it’s not been effective and the place needs professionally fumigated which is the only way the problem will be fixed.

Santiago guesthouse Hiroshima was amazing. The work is easy and normally fast. The customers enjoy spending time with the stuff and there is a very cool atmosphere. The hostel is central and you can walk in the whole city. Masa San is very nice and flexible, I got problems with my visa and arrived 4 days later and he never complained or said anything. Some days he did invite us to some meal (for example for Christmas ). It was an extraordinary experience I would love to repeat

Great hostel in a great location! Everything you need is within walking distance. Hiroshima is a lively city that has the peace and charm of a small town at the same time.
