The Experience

Hi Everyone! I am are Daniel, I moved from Brazil to Ecuador to start a new, exciting chapter of life on this side of the continent. In November 2014 I made my dream come true, and moved to the famous village of Montanita and created a cosy hostel that quickly built a great reputation and became a home away from home for travellers from all around the world. I have been running the hostel myself for 12 years now.

Junto con mi amiga, Abril, realizamos el voluntariado en el hostel, ¡muy contentas con la experiencia! El hostel es hermoso, y las áreas comunes son confortables y buenísima opción para hacer lo que uno desee. Daniel, el dueño, es una gran persona. Las tareas son claras, se respetan los horarios de los voluntarios y funciona la comunicación en todo momento. Sin dudas una gran experiencia, lo recomiendo! :D

Un excelente lugar para hacer voluntariado, rodeado de naturaleza y fauna local, Monika y Daniel, los anfitriones, tienen mucho amor por su guest house y logran un espacio tranquilo y donde llegan viajeros de todo el mundo con muy buena vibra. Se respeta el horario pactado y se incluye materiales para los desayunos. Daniel también es profesor de surf y tiene un muy buen repertorio musical con su guitarra. Recomiendo 100% el hostel en Montañita!

Las actividades que lleve a cabo en el hostel propias de un hostal, algunas de jardinería y otras de mantenimiento (aseo general), lo cual se ajusto al perfil al que postule, las horas de intercambio y lo suministrado acorde o pactado en la plataforma, nunca me hicieron trabajar de más, pueden ser flexibles si se puede, con cambio de turnos o días libre; el hostel es un lugar tranquilo, con zonas comunes lindas y limpias, además mucha naturaleza alrededor, a 5 minutos de la playa. Monika y Daniel son personas cordiales, respetuosas con dos hijas maravillosas, mil graciass por todo. !!!
