I had a great time at the camping! I went to paint murals & they gave me a lot of freedom to paint in my own style and my own hours. I got to join in on tours as promised, and always had a private tent except for 1 night when the camping was fully booked. Meals are the same everyday, breakfast and dinner were buffet style and the lunch was just something small since everyone is out on tours during the day. The surrounding desert is a serene and beautiful place I got to explore a lot. I felt safe & comfortable as a solo female traveler at their the camping! Would love to return one day!

I had an amazing experience at the camping. The scenery is absolutely fantastic there, and you will be blown away by the stars in the evening. It is truly a magical sight. The accommodation is basic, but authentic, and you get to know the locals. I felt very welcomed and included during my time there, by both the host and his coworkers+ guests at the camping. The hours were fair, and I had plenty of time to do my own stuff. Of course there is limited how much there is to do on your own in the desert, but time really flew by. Overall I had a great stay. Thank you!!

Volunteering at the camping was one of the most memorable and best travel experiences I've ever had! Mohammed and his team are kind and funny, they welcome you into their the camping like family and show you true the camping hospitality. They are incredibly hard working and passionate. It was a pleasure to work together, even for only a week. Most days we went to Wadi Rum village to da little work online and I was able to join free tours with other guests.the camping itself is peaceful and comfortable and Hani is a great chef. Go with an open mind, be flexible, and enjoy the desert life.

Mohammed is truly a really good person. Make sure to have full transparency of what you can contribute and decide with him what you will be working on. I really enjoyed my time in Wadi Rum. It was an unforgettable experience, and I feel that Mohammed is now my friend and brother for life. I was very satisfied by my time there. Mohammed treated me with respect and welcomed me into his network and circle of family and friends. Thank you Mohammed for everything, and I will hope to be back to visit one day in the future!
