This experience was truly life changing!! I learned so so so much, I can't even put in words. Sidnia's house is a super safe place, always with the cutest dogs and cats, and I will never forget it. Everything was amazing, and I recommend it 110%! <3

The work itself was nice, I loved the time spent taking care of the dogs and also got to do some artistic painting. However, the environment around the house became quite toxic in the end, I started to get micro-managed and huge lack of proactive and clear communication. I also built no relationship at all with Sidnia which made everything harder in my opinion. At least to my experience, fair work-enchange but no cultural experience at all.

I can only say THANK YOU! It has been the best experience I could have, thank Sidnia everything, has been especially well behaved, and I had an experience that I would repeat again and again. Without a doubt I recommend this experience to all animal lovers, they will not regret .

It was a great work exchange experience. Sid's place is very welcoming, she is a wonderful host and I felt like home while staying there. She also provides food, Brooklyn is an amazing neighborhood and the house is very close to a subway station, you can easily go anywhere from there, including the airport. The work itself was not difficult at all, sometimes I had to drive her car, dog sitting and keeping the house clean. The working hours are fair, the room is comfortable and I had lots of free time to explore NYC. I will be back again, I totally recommend it :)

I'm very thankful of my time in the home, the place is very comfortable and everyone is really nice. Sidnia is very warm and welcoming. In regards of the tasks, they are things that everybody could do. Basically, flexibility and animal love is what you'll need the most if you decide to stay there.

I love my time in NY and I so thankful for this experience. Sid is a good person and she always help me to learn more things to improve my skills And I love to work with dogs, they're so cute. Sid was also very patient and understanding with my issues with my flights. Thanks for that Sid ❤️ I recommend this to everyone, this culture exchange was wonderful. And I also met other volunteers who were wonderful with me, including especially Lila and Flavia. thank you girls for helping me with everything.

My time at Sidnia's place was a very special experience for me. Sid made me feel very welcome, she is such a loving, understanding, caring and fun person. I loved spending time with her. Sometimes communication could have been better, but in the end everything worked out fine. Regarding your tasks, most of the time you will have to do all kind of chores around the house, and also take care of the dogs. If you're flexible, dog-loving and want to explore New York, Sidnia's place will be perfect for you

My time at the home was definitely something special. I really felt loved and welcome by Sid and I liked spending time with her. Sadly, communicating was hard sometimes as she was out of the house quite often. Other than that: be prepared to spend a lot of time working with and around dogs, as this is what most of my tasks looked like. If you don't mind that as well as spontaneous tasks and replanning, than stay in with Sid is a great way to explore New York as it is very easy to get to the city from her place.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I am so thankful to Sid for opening her doors to me and so many amazing travelers! It was a great experience to truly get to know New York City and to meet other Worldpackers. Even when things didn't work out while working, I felt like I could talk to Sidnia about it as she is very understanding.
