Victor and the family are so warm-hearted and have beautiful souls! I was able to extend my knowledge of sustainable living, the culture and traditions of costa rica as well as the beautiful nature. Each family member brings so much joy and made me feel so welcome all the time. I'm so thankful for this opportunity and the chance to grow as a person. If you want to experience pure happiness, visit this sweet family:)

Pastor Victor and Irma made me feel totally relaxed and welcome from when I arrived, till sadly it was time to leave. The whole family from children to grandchildren also made me feel like I was part of the family. We spent a lot of time talking about our cultures and our views. The property is right next to a beautiful the lodge , its a lovely place to relax or swim and lots of birds I also learned about the traditions and the food they eat. We made patacon and my favourite was the tamal. We went to local beauty spots. The hot springs at la Fortuna and an amazing turquoise the lodge and waterfall

Victor and his familiy are very nice and welcoming! They live in a beautiful house in a beautiful village and I found that this experience was a nice way to get to know local Costa rican culture. There was not much work to do though and I got the impression that the family didn't wanted me to work. So if you would like to experience Costa rican culture and food, this is a good place for you. The family speaks very little english, so spanish skills is very, very useful of you want to get something out of it.
