The Experience

You'll have 3 or 4 reception shifts throughout the week (likely mostly night shifts); you won't be awake overnight - active hours 9:30-11:30pm ish and 7-9:30am ish, but wake up during the night in case of check-in or calls or emergency. You may help put breakfast another day (~7:15am-10:15am), or help cover the lunch hour of reception. You may help with bringing up and down the laundry (4 floors), it kind of depends on the needs of the day.

Good stuff is the only thing I can say about the experience at this hostel! Friendly and caring staff members made me feel like I was home 🤩 Including the other volunteers:) the hostel is perfect for meeting new people, guests there were always so chill and easygoing 😊 Perfect place to improve my English and Spanish! The tasks I needed to do there were not hard at all! And changes on my schedule were never a problem after talking to Esther (a sunshine ☀️ I had a great time there! I will definitely go back if they allow me to do so🫶🏽
