My experience at camping was excellent. The whole team is very respectful, kind, and always made me feel welcome. The food was spectacular; many thanks to Don Manuel and Neiser, who cook delicious meals. The room that was assigned to me was very comfortable and pleasant. The guides and drivers are also incredible people, always willing to help and share. I had the opportunity to do several hikes and I fell in love with this place. I certainly hope to return someday. Thank you very much for everything!

A volunteering experience in every sense. It includes all three meals, great Wi-Fi for working, and an incredible setting. The nearby hikes are stunning and the landscapes spectacular. That said, bring a coat. Ideal for those who enjoy silence, nature and tranquility. Thanks for making me feel at home. ❤️ More photos and videos of my trip through Latin America on Instagram: @karinconka_

The views of the volcano the camping are incredible, that makes the magic of the place. The tasks are simple, the days you have to work you must be present at breakfast, lunch and dinner, so you work all day with split shifts. When we were there there was little crowd of people so our days off were observed as they should be. You have a room just for volunteers with privacy, really good. The food is usually soup and seconds, simple and delicious. I recommend volunteering if you want to disconnect from the noisy world and go live a time of connection.

I am very grateful for this experience! It was a quiet period and I could enjoy the wonderful nature around the place. Neisser and Mr. Manuel were very good to me, they are incredible people! I recommend this volunteer program to anyone who wants to learn about the mountains and live at 3,900 meters! Tupac and Luna are the cherry on top! 🦙
One thing: it's really cold, make sure you have appropriate clothing for these temperatures!

I loved the experience; for my first volunteering experience, I am very grateful for the opportunity. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and quite cold in the first days while you adapt. You will relate to foreigners from all parts of the world 🌍. You can also become friends with the Alpacas Luna and Tupac 😊. The host is a kind, respectful, and flexible man. You collaborate with Neyser and Don Manuelito who are very kind people. You must plan well to go out for your hikes and to get to know the surroundings. Thanks to the camping Lodge for the opportunity. 🤗

Excellent experience, the campsite offered us incredible views; we could share with people from different parts of the world in addition to the alpahacas Luna and Túpac. We tried different foods and the communication was always pleasant. We helped with domestic tasks and we had a private bedroom. I recommend this experience to everyone!

The volunteer experience was very enjoyable. You are in a privileged place on the slopes of the campsite, you can do several hikes and enjoy the incredible nature around. Neiser and Don Manuel, two excellent people with whom I was happy to work. Mr. Vladimir was also very kind and helpful. Without a doubt I recommend the experience.

We encountered a busy period with many visitors during the year-end holidays. The days off depended on the camp's occupancy, so sometimes there was a little lack of communication, but this was easily solved by messaging the owners. The owners are friendly; they offered us a bottle of sparkling wine for Christmas. The team took us from Riobamba to the refuge at the start of the volunteering period and brought us back at the end, which was very practical. We stayed in a private room and the scenery of the refuge is spectacular! Thank you for the opportunity!

We spent Christmas and New Year camping at Base Camp, during a busy period with a lot of people. We help at each meal by setting the table, serving and cleaning the kitchen and common areas. We also contribute with photos and videos, translations into English, and pitching and taking down tents.
We had a private room for the two of us, with an incredible view of the volcano. The surroundings are beautiful and the food is very tasty. Days off were possible when there were no guests; since there were many people, it was necessary to coordinate by message. Everything could be discussed. We appreciate the opportunity to get to know this environment. ✨️
