The Experience

This is a wonderful opportunity for a couple or two friends to spend 3-4 weeks in the beautiful historical countryside of SW France. To generally help prepare the chateau for the summer. Excellent photographic skills would really help ! ( Food & chateau interior) You would need your own camera with high pixel ability.

This experience far exceeded our expectations. It was the best first worldpackers experience we could have hoped for. The hosts are very kind, super generous, and were great to work with. The area is out of a storybook. Note this is not for the person looking for a party life. This is a very quiet town in South France although there are many tiny cities around. The work is easy even when it's hard. They give a lot and in return you should be there to work and help them. We had a beautiful one month experience. This set the bar very high. I am so grateful.

This was the best volunteering , Mary is an incredible hostess, from the first moment she treated us very well, always very attentive if we needed something, she took us to see some beautiful places, she is a very kind person, intelligent and interesting, we were also able to practice our English with her, about the place wow beautiful, we fell in love, a lot of nature and incredible landscapes, beautiful churches, castles. the activities were easy, we were painting windows, we stayed in a whole house for ourselves, and Mary gave us the money to buy our own food. We are really thankfull :)
