Kids and family in Kyangwali are amazing! I learned a lot from the interviews with parents of the students where they shared the challenges of living in the refugee camp ! Charles is incredible! Alongside of making sure I feel comfortable he taught me a lot about culture and culinary. If you really want to do an impact in people's life this is the place you should go! I would recommend bringing activities and materials prepared before hand. The kids love to be engaged in games , music and arts and craft!

My stay in Kyangwali was incredible, and the people, especially Charles, were phenomenal. Despite the difficult living conditions, their support helped me adapt. The school was in a beautiful rural area, and the children's joy and eagerness to learn were inspiring. The lack of resources was a major challenge, but any small help makes a big difference. I highly recommend this experience to anyone willing to help.

Dear Davide,

Thank you for the feedback; it’s great to hear from you again. Your points are well noted. I always plan for my volunteers, and we have many activities at the site. However, sometimes it can be challenging to fully understand a volunteer’s expectations.

Things in Africa differ from Europe, where everything is more readily available, but we are actively working on improving our system. We aim to develop more structured plans before accepting volunteers to ensure a smoother experience for everyone involved.

Thank you for your continued support.

Best regards,
Albert.

I spent almost a month in the organization. Maybe kyangwali is one of the hardest places to live, but everybody made me feel so good there. I felt part of the team. The kids are really lovely and spent with me all time playing, dancing... This is a place for feel the real Africa life and learn many things from them. I recommend go and meet the school. I will go back.

Volunteering at the organization proved to be an awe-inspiring experience. Given its remote location, I gained an invaluable, firsthand insight into the daily lives of these refugees. Albert and his team were super accommodating, and even went out of their way to make sure I got to the camp safely. The children's boundless energy and joy upon meeting me was heartwarming, as they warmly welcomed me with songs and poems. The work is really flexible, and I even had a chance to attend one of the refugee markets! Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this project to anyone interested in making a mean
