The hostel has a special place in my heart. Location is phenomenal, walk distance to everything: groceries, beach, clubs, bars, restaurants, parks. The hostel itself has a vibe that makes you feel home. The staff is so welcoming and they care about you ! The activities at the hostel are also super fun and you will always have something fun to do 🫡 The work hours are well respected and you will have more than enough time to explore San Diego 😍 You wont regret to come here and experience San Diego vibes at the best the hostel ❤️🔥 and have the best time of your life

Reflecting back on my time at the hostel, it was truly an amazing experience. The community that is formed by staff and guests at the hostel are very welcoming. You do work around 24 hrs a week, but it still gives you plenty of time to explore outside of the hostel if you choose to do so. Whenever I had an issue, I usually brought it to one of the managers, and they would help me get it resolved in a timely manner. Overall, this program is structured in a pretty organized fashion. To the hostel Family, thank you so much for a great experience and I hope to be back in the future!

This was my first time volunteering and it has been life-changing. My staff quickly became my family and I'm incredibly grateful to have lived this experience with them. I found fulfillment in creating deep connections with liked-minded people from all around the world. I have learned so much about myself—what I value, what I want, what I don't like and what I love. I recommend an open mind and coming in with little expectations. Give from a place of love & you shall receive the same. It has been a beautiful experience that I will take with me forever ❤️

Party hostelllll! Accommodation is an 8 bed in the hostel. Gorgeous deck to go out on. Just fyi most of the hostel doesn't have a roof and is mainly outdoors except for the dorms of course. It can get a little chilly in winter. Being on the beach is amazing, the manager STACIE IS AWESOME. You will have so much fun here! You can also stay at other the hostel's for free while you're here and it's nice to travel around cali/mexico.
