I am currently still staying at the organization, but the experience so far is amazing! the organization and his wife Shaki are truly amazing and make you feel like home. All the kids are amazing, you have to possibility to play with them and make music all day. The tasks take less than 20 hours a week, unless you count playing with the kids as a task. If you are not feeling like playing with them or do not have the energy to do so, it is totally fine to take some rest in your room too. I gave the facilities 5 stars, but don't expect a 5-star hotel. It is a 5-star 'local experience' 😉

The best experience of my life! I truly felt like part of a family while making a real impact. the organization is doing an incredible job caring for children, women, and the local community. Volunteering with them is not just about giving back—it's about embracing love, connection, and the authentic Ugandan way of life. If you want to experience Africa's rich culture while making a meaningful difference, this is the place to be!

This was my first volunteering experience and I enjoyed it a lot! Staying in the organization gives you a good insight of the lifestyle and culture of locals. Everyone is extremely friendly and do their best to make you feel at home. You can also see how much they are devoted to providing the best environment for both volunteers and the kids there. It was an unforgettable experience!

Our time was memorable. Every day was different and we learned a lot about the different aspects of the local lifestyle such as cooking, banana leaf hunting and lusoga classes. This was a great way to engage with the local people, in and around the foundation. The children always welcomed us with open arms and smiles, and their curiosity and joy were contagious. The people around also deserve a special mention. – You are absolutely amazing, generous, caring and have the biggest hearts. We really enjoyed spending time with you. Se you next time❤️ Webale ino ino ino Marie, Lisbeth & Frida
