This was my first worldpackers experience and it was truly very amazing! The hostel itself is small and as summer is low season in Gran Canaria, the workload wasn't much the hostel truly is such a kind and welcoming place it feels homey and Carlos and the rest of the staff are very nice! Although they are now working on making the hostel accessible for younger people, which will make it even better!! Gran Canaria in itself is so beautiful and there is so much to explore, including the culture Overall this experience was a perfect mix of getting to know locals and interacting with guests!

This has been one of the best experience that I ever had! :) The city is pretty, with many spots for walking and the beach it's really close by for chilling or surfing. The host Carlos is a really nice person, always available for a talk and respectful with anyone. One day he brought all the volunteers for a nice day in the montains, we went to the cave's house museum and on the Roque Nublo. Mucha gracias Carlos, quedé genial alli :)

My first experience with Worldpackers was incredible! I had so much fun and would do it a hundred times over. I met amazing people from all over the world, and with the other volunteers we formed a special group. The atmosphere was always positive, with the right balance between work and free time. Carlos is always present and helpful, and you can tell he really cares about the hostel and the volunteers. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my first volunteer experience, and I'm truly grateful for every moment and person I met!

My time volunteering at LuaLua Hostel was truly a special experience. From the first day, the team made me feel welcome and included, creating a supportive and relaxed environment where it was easy to settle in. The hostel has a great social vibe lively but still comfortable and it attracts amazing travelers from all over the world. The work expectations were clear and fair, and there was a good balance between responsibilities and free time, which made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. I'm really thankful for the friendships, memories, and positive energy at LuaLua. I recommend

I had a good time at the hostel! The workload is small and the shifts are easy. When I was there, there were 3 other volunteers, all laid back and friendly😄 The owner of the hostel is super kind and understanding: he took all the volunteers on a trip across the island💃🏻 during my stay, there weren't many guests in the hostel, so if you're looking for a relaxing experience, spending time with yourself and for an immersion into Spanish culture, this volunteering is for you!
