The Experience
I have intermediate English and I want to improve it, so if you can teach me 2:30 h a day, for 5 times a week, come and let's exchange experiences. I really like trekking and traveling, so if you want, you can join me on some adventures Mi español no es bueno, pero lo entiendo bien. Quiero aprender el idioma de los vecinos latinos. I had a great time having this exchange with Lucas in Niteroi. Lucas has a great level of English which makes it feel just like having conversations with a new friend rather than really teaching. The atmosphere is laid back, he is super helpful and flexible. We were even able to go on a trip with some of his friends so I really feel like I got to be part of a little community here.

Staying with Lucas was an amaizing experience. He's an amazing host in every possible way! He has a very busy life with many interesting activities that I could also participate in. I met a lot of his friends and could experience life in Niteroi/Rio from a locals perspective, which was very fun. I felt very safe and welcomed with Lucas and all his friends and family. Lucas hosted me very generously in his home and we had really good conversations. he took me to have the most amazing view of the sunset! Even though my stay was short, I really enjoyed it and I am thankful having stayed there!

Lucas is a great guy! Living together with him and learning English together is real fun. If you are looking for an experience in Rio - Niteroi that is different to the hostel life, apply at Lucas!! I definitely enjoyed the time I was staying with Lucas.

Lucas is an easygoing person, he was always looking for something fun to do or a place to visit. I learned a bit of slacklining, footvolley and went to a samba show! English classes are very flexible depending on his shifts. I highly recommend to visit him. Thanks a lot!
