Juan has created his own world there, and there is history waiting to be noticed in every corner. Works may feel difficult sometimes, but Juan is flexible, take your time and enjoy being part of that world. I just wouldn't recommend staying in the Roman house, there is a lot of mosquitoes and lizards. Jerez and Cádiz are cities with character, and you can usually visit them with Juan. It was an experience worth being there for. Mucho gracias Juan:))

Juan Carlos is a kind person and I enjoyed getting to know him. Gracias por todo! However a few things to clarify: Location: not Cadiz (See Lena's review for more detail) Property: not an eco village and rather a house with a few semi-private accommodation areas People: there will likely only be 1-2 volunteers total and most of the work is solitary Work: bio construction seems mostly finished; the remaining projects are maintenance and painting Language: best if you speak intermediate Spanish or better as JC does not speak English and his accent is difficult to understand for beginners

The Villa is a special place with art in every corner. For me it was not a 5-star-experience as I personally didn't feel too comfortable there; I only stayed for one week so it was ok. Also the location on Worldpackers is not appropriate as you have to use a car to get to town and there is no public transportation in the living area nor any things to do (very rural). However, Juan usually goes to Cádiz or Jerez every day where you can join him. Juan is very kind and you can always ask him if you need anything. He knows a lot about the history of the surrounding places which is interesting too!

It was a beautiful and great experience. I gained a brotherly friend; Juan Carlos is an enlightened human being, has a giant heart and is always very concerned with our well-being. His house is a work of art. He showed me the whole city; I met his friends; his daughters are precious, humane and very intelligent. I highly recommend this experience. I learned things I never thought would be possible to do. Thank you, Brother. Thank you for everything. We continue walking through this world believing that yes there are good people to help others. Amen! Thank you.

I value her stay here positively, and she will be able to come and go whenever she wishes.
Thank you very much, Renata.
