The Experience
El voluntariado en el hostal consiste en colaborar en el bar 5 horas al día, 5 días a la semana. El equipo de voluntarios es de 8 a 10 personas. El ambiente en el hostal es muy tranquilo y siempre alegre. Al ser un horario de 5 horas, puedes pasar el resto de tu día en el hostal o simplemente salir a conocer la hermosa ciudad de Antigua. Es un lugar ideal para conectar con otros viajeros y sobre todo para que puedan disfrutar de la estadía.

The hostel surprise me, knowing it is a party hostel I had the idea of and environment super crazy with party all day, but it also result as a place to relax by the pool, the garden and the rooftop with amazing views. I'm ending my experience with great relationship with the team, managers and volunteers. It's a warm and beautiful family that respects the profesional side, the friendship and the respect. I would definitely return to another volunteer experience. Thank you the hostel for the hospitality, the surprises and attention.

The hostel was a cool place to stay, improve Bartending skills as well as spanish. The work was simple and not to challenging. One problem with an employee occured though. I tried to tell him that I didn't like the harsh way he communicated tasks to me and respectfully asked for a little more respect. He then said that this wasn't his problem and I should go talk to Charlie. After that incident he didn't really talk to me anymore behaved kind of childish. Overall an amazing experience wich I recommend to every Worldpacker!

My experience at the hostel has been one of my favorites. I felt welcomed here the moment I walked in the door and the 3 weeks I spent here flew by way too quickly. This was a great place to bartend for the first time as the hostel team was always willing to help and I was never left confused about what my role and expectations were. I was able to learn a lot in this role and practiced my Spanish while working alongside the local staff. This position is perfect if you're looking to meet fun & interesting people from different parts of the world while exploring all that Antigua has to offer.

I loved my experience at the hostel! It was my first time volunteering and it couldn't have gone better. The entire staff was so welcoming and supportive. Everyone looks out for each other and it's such a fun environment. the hostel is a great place to meet people from all over the world and they provide so many opportunities to get out and explore. Charlie and the other bar tenders do such a good job of making you feel at home I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. I can't wait to go back and see all the amazing friends I made during my stay here!

I recently had the privilege of volunteering as a bartender at the hostel and I must say that was an incredibly fulfilling experience from the moment I arrived. I was wrongly welcomed by the stuff and syllable in tears creating atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. Thanks to Charlie and his team.❤️
