The Experience

Hello! We are Katterine and Jorge, in charge of a small hostel located in Punta Arenas, looking for a way to continue our venture, which was greatly affected by the pandemic. That's why we are turning to these attractive actions. Our idea is to exchange experience, good vibes, availability and willingness in exchange for accommodation for the time needed for everyone. We are a traveling family that loves to share moments.

The host is a small but comfy hostel based just 2 blocks from the main square ( plaza de Armas ) where you can find restaurants, bars, supermarkets, museums and all what I traveller needs, I stayed 30 days working at the reception all the task are easy, you have the house warm at anytime, I really liked the time I spent there, I high recommend this hostel.

A very pleasant stay in Punta Arenas. The volunteering experience was very nice; Jorge is a very good host, caring and attentive. The schedule is very convenient since you have the afternoons free to stroll around the city or do some trekking. The hostel is very close to the square, so it is feasible to walk everywhere. The tasks are mainly housekeeping, serving breakfast, and attending to guests. During my stay I had a room to myself, and that level of privacy and independence is greatly appreciated while traveling. Highly recommended! A beautiful place in Puq.

Pleasant experience, good hostel geolocation, a few steps from the main square of Punta Arenas, a place with a lot of local history, on the other hand there was a very good disposition of the host regarding needs and/or emergencies. Very good experience

The hostel is very good, and the accommodations are great. I stayed in a private room with heating, TV, and a bathroom. I can't complain about anything. Jorge is a 5-star host, very friendly, good company, a 10-out-of-10 guy. I know his children and it was very nice!!! I recommend this experience to any volunteer going to Patagonia and wishing to visit Punta Arenas. Thanks for everything Jorge!
