The Experience

We are a certified organic farm that commercially sells Blueberries, Turmeric and Peaches. We need volunteers to help the farm in exchange for access to the Nature Coast. North Florida has many of the most beautiful coldwater springs in the world. These are First Magnitude springs with volumes greater than 65 million gallons of water per day. We are also situated just 40 miles from the Gulf Coast and the most secluded beach in Florida!

Are you thinking about embarking on an adventure to the farm Farms? All I can say is, just do it! For me, it has been a fantastic experience and I'm so grateful to myself that I chose to come here for my first WorldPackers trip! There is a reason Richard is deemed a top host… He is just phenomenal. Right from the beginning, his communication with me was just exceptional - I got a reply the exact same day! He is friendly, charismatic, enthusiastic, funny (amateur comedian) and an encyclopaedia of knowledge. The work is straight forward, however it can be challenging in the summer heat.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better host or stay. Richard was welcoming and kind from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The tasks we did daily were simple and straightforward, the only thing to be mindful of is the hot Florida sun. Richard made sure to keep us geared up, hydrated, and well fed so working the 5 hours a day was more than manageable. By 3:30, we were off and could spend the rest of the day however we wanted. The accommodations are also nice! Don't skip the solar shower!!

My experience at the farm was just outstanding, it was my first worldpackers project & my first experience at a farm as well. Richard he is incredible, he was always on touch with me even before I arrive so I felt totally safe. We played volleyball, we went to the springs, bat houses & breweries. He was always trying to show us around & he made us feel more than welcomed. I'm definitely gonna be back again as there are still a lot to be explored & done. They also have solar showers 😉 Special thanks for Richard for everything 🍀

Travelling with my Partner for our first world packers experience and Richard made us feel like family. He has very good communication with you from the start of your application to the end of your experience. Everything that was agreed was honored, especially the extra activities like volleyball and visiting the Springs. Richard is a stand up guy, will always help you when needed and provide you with all his knowledge to help you learn. I would definitely recommend this is experience!
