My stay at the farm was such a great experience. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few tasks to do, so be prepared to stay active. That said, everything is manageable and fair. I had my own space, and being able to cook my own meals was really nice. Bea and Luca are very welcoming and helpful people. Bea is such a joy to be around, very friendly and warm. They're always willing to help with any question or situation you might have.

I'm very grateful for the time I spent with Bea and Luca. The place is beautiful and I learned so much during my stay, from helping with guests and breakfast to cleaning and gardening. It pushed me outside my comfort zone and made me much more confident and independent. The work is detailed and can be busy, so I'd recommend it to someone who enjoys responsibility and learning new things. Although I decided to leave earlier than planned, Bea was very understanding and I'm grateful for the experience and wish them both the best! ❤️

I really enjoyed my stay at the farm. It is in a lovely location and is very peaceful. Bea is a very kind and caring person! There is a lot of work to do , and at times I struggled with this being the only volunteer , but this is no fault of the farms. Grazie per tutto the farm ! <3

Thanks! To clarify for future volunteers: we provide daily checklists and task guides for our standard 5-hour shifts. Staff is always present for hands-on training and ongoing support. The workload is balanced and manageable, and you were never asked to perform extra duties.
We were surprised by your comments, as you chose to leave just a few days after your arrival—right during the initial learning phase—rather than completing your planned month. We wish you the best in your future endeavors

The farm is a great place if you enjoy the outdoors and connecting with local people. Bea and Luca are always attentive to your needs and often include you in their friends' and family dinner parties. During the five-hour shift, you're expected to complete all tasks on the list and keep everything neat and organized. Mantova, the nearby city, is beautiful, and from there you can easily visit many other beautiful places. You'll meet great people, and I can't wait to come back and enjoy another summer night at the farm!!

I truly enjoyed my time here. It was my first experience volunteering and it couldn't have been a better fit for me. The family is the kindest, most welcoming and always ready to help - it was a real pleasure getting to know them! The place is amazing, lots of opportunities to visit other cities such as Trento, Bologna and Venice and Mantova itself is such a lovely town - especially when taking the bike to sit by the lake! A fantastic experience that I can warmly recommend. I hope to come back one day:))
