We had a lovely stay at the lodge. Andjela is very passionate about this project and I enjoyed being a part of it. The area is absolutely gorgeous and the accommodations were very nice. When the weather allowed we worked outside surrounded by the scenery, moving wood or hay. Thank you for having us the lodge!

Best experience ever! They take care of my like I was part of their family always. Being with Andjela, Matija, Aria, Sivi, Risto and the chicken was great. Only I have to say it's I'm truly grateful for this experience. I meat local people, visited places, learn about the culture and the country, went to a football match, and much more.

Andjela and Mati are warm persons and want you to feel at home and help you with everything you need. Use of the kitchen to prepare/cook your food was always very uncomplicated.. like in a nice shared apartment. The dogs are a big plus, they are your companions the whole time. :) There was little opportunity to be part of the yoga classes and other activities because of the few guests and there wasn't that much to do as some projects aren't progressing. I can recommend this volunteer position for people who like to disconnect from the city, think ahead and have initiative.

FYI and for informing the rest of the future volunteers - yoga classes are available to the team members when we have guests on the location and organise these activities for them. This stays for the other activities that aren't mentioned on the profile, too. We do hope that you enjoy the yoga class that you participated in. :)

This was such an awesome experience, and in such a beautiful place, with such lovely people... the lodge is up in the hills with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains and forests. Andjela and Mattia are gracious hosts who are building a true sustainable community and retreat, complete with some animals, some farming, and a strong sense of environmental awareness. I asked for hard labor work because I wanted the exercise, and I got what I asked for, but they were super accommodating and flexible with work hours, and wanted to make sure I didn't work too hard :) Would definitely return
