The Experience
Somos una org de 8 voluntarios locales.. Tenemos ahora un Refugio con 30 perros... Estamos ubicados a 41/2 del Puerto (centro), por el refugio pasa la ciclovía y la carretera principal... El Voluntario va a tener autonomía y va a vivir en un cuarto especialmente para ellos, donde hay cocina, baño, ducha, nevera, licuadora.. van a convivir entre voluntarios y también vivir con los perros... Nosotros proveemos legumbres, frutas y huevos... Anímate!

I loved my stay at the shelter. The work hours were respected & I had enough free time to visit the other islands. The staff are lovely & welcoming. The dogs are so sweet & work is always a joy because the main task is to spend lots of time with them - giving them love & attention. The islands are really beautiful .. with many things to do & so much wildlife to see. If you are a dog lover, I would highly recommend volunteering at the shelter. It is a very rewarding experience & the dogs really need you. It was sad saying goodbye & I hope to go back soon. Thank you for everything! ❤️🐕

This was such an amazing experience we didn't want to leave! Gloria, her family and all the other volunteers were so welcoming I felt like part of their family from day one! Providing love and care for the dogs was such a great experience- we would go back in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this to others.

Alicia una linda persona nos ayudo a trabajar mucho en el l refugio, limpiando, construyendo y sobre todo dando muchísimo amor a los perritos tanto así que jamas te olvidemos ya que tenemos a nuestra Alis 🐶 en el refugio

Gloria and her family will make you feel like one of them from the very first day. They are such lovely people who have a lot of time for the volunteers. The dogs are all so lovely and we are going to miss them dearly. The work was fun and you knew you were helping the family develop the land for the dogs or themselves. Thank you very much Gloria and family for your stay and help over the last month. We hope to be reunited again soon one day.

Estos perritos son los seres más amorosos y buenos que hay. Imposible no quererlos a todos y cada uno de ellos. Fue realmente increíble poderlos conocer y ayudarlos. ¡Ha sido una experiencia realmente maravillosa! El refugio es un sitio en el que se cuida y respeta los animales y su libertad. Los cuidadores y fundadores son muy amables y te hacen sentir como en casa desde el principio. ¡Gracias por esta experiencia que no olvidaré jamás!

La experiencia en el refugio fue muy chula! Tanto Jheimy como Gloria y sus hijos son personas muy buenas, que se preocupan por que te sientas cómodo. Pase allí las navidades y me hicieron sentir como en casa 🏡 Las tareas son muy lindas ya que lo principal es dar amor a todos los perritos que tienen en el refugio que han sido rescatados en la misma isla... les coges mucho cariño! También puede tocar otras tareas como ayudar a construir nuevos lugares para los perritos, limpiar sus hogares, todo cosas faciles de realizar🫂 Recomiendo mucho ir hacia allí y ojalá volver algún día 💓💓🌀
