Volunteers are assign to dog shelter supporting in cleaning, animal care, giving shower, spending time with dogs, taking them out for a walk and so on. Please be aware that cleaning involves removing dog poop from their living area so if your idea of working at a shelter is mostly cuddling puppies, you will be disappointed. Please only contact us if you are willing to work hard and give 100% of effort.

I had a great time volunteering here! You will grow a connection to the dogs over time and you will meet many great people with your time here. I also was given the opportunity to help grow in my leadership skills which was an added bonus. You need to be prepared to work hard as you will be cleaning dog cages and walking multiple dogs during your shift. I absolutely recommend volunteering here.

Ser voluntaria en "el refugio", un albergue para perros en Carhuaz, Perú, fue una experiencia gratificante. Participar en campañas de adopción nos permitió encontrar hogares amorosos para muchos perros necesitados. Además, conducir el auto para transportarlos a sus nuevos hogares fue emocionante y reconfortante. Contribuir a su bienestar fue inolvidable.

Nuestra experiencia en el refugio fue muy buena, tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer parte de una jornada de adopción, lo cual fue muy enriquecedor. Las horas de trabajo fueron respetadas y a pesar de que el trabajo es físico, las instrucciones son claras y son consecuentes a las explicaciones de Jessica y su familia. Si ama los animales y no tiene miedo de ensuciarse las manos trabajando, el refugio es una muy buena oportunidad de hacer voluntariado, además tanto el lugar como el ambiente son óptimos. Gracias a todas los colaboradores de este gran proyecto!

El refugio te brinda una experiencia única, cada uno de sus perritos se queda guardado en tu corazón y te encariñas con el albergue. Las tareas están bien distribuidas y Jessica y su esposo te brindan todas las facilidades e incluso compartir con un perrito en el hostel, puedes compartir esta experiencia con voluntarios de todo el mundo y aprender de su cultura. Recomendado para todas las personas que les guste los animales y un lugar tranquilo. Me enamore de Bowi, Ricky y Osito 🐶💞
