I had a brilliant time in Loviste, a peaceful, wonderful place. The whole team became like a second family to me for these two weeks. Various situations and good conversations – both in English and using gestures and Google Translate – left me with some unforgettable memories, such as an octopus clinging to my leg when I came out of the water after a swim. Where else could you experience something like that in real life?

Robert was an excellent host, very respectful of the hours, the location was amazing with paddleboards and bikes available to use. It was really peaceful and a great place for me to unwind while experiencing a bit of Croatian culture!

My experience was amazing. I felt welcomed by the host and the workers there. The food was delicious! I had access to bikes and paddle boards that I could use in my free time. The working hours were not strict and the work itself was really simple. I loved my time there and I definitely recommend volunteering here!

I had a fantastic time in Loviste at the inn. Robert was very welcoming and looked after me like family. The work environment was great, filled with fantastic people. . I learnt a lot of new skills, including restaurant and farming operations. The food and hospitality was always good. Paddleboards and other beach equipment made the beach experience very good. We also had bikes to ride around the town.

I really loved my time at the inn all of the staff were so welcoming and treated me like family, we get three meals a day and they are always balanced and delicious, the volunteers live on a farm a 15 minute walk away from the hotel and we all had our own rooms with big beds, we also had use of bikes and a car to make it easier to get too and from the house. The work can be hard especially during the busiest times but it was always rewarding and I enjoyed the variety of tasks. I loved being able to use the paddle boards during our free time. Loviste is the most beautiful place!
