My stay at Tefi's farm was much more than a volunteering experience. From the first day I felt welcomed as part of the family.

The work was well organized, varied, and gave me the opportunity to learn new skills while enjoying the rhythm of life in the countryside. Tefi is a kind, patient, and generous host who truly cares about the people who stay with her. She creates an environment where you can contribute, learn, and also have meaningful conversations.

A very beautiful and immersive experience! Full contact with nature. Volunteer hours are respected. The tasks are very physical and tiring, but very rewarding. I came looking for this. Cutting and moving firewood. Plant pruning. Cleaning gutters. Installing posts to build fences. Harvesting fruits and vegetables. Feeding animals and cleaning the pens. If you're looking for city comforts or the pace of city life, this might not be the best place for you. I recommend the experience for those who are willing to live in a rural area far from the city and to get their hands dirty! Steph is the best host!!!!

The volunteering experience wasn't what we expected; the agreement about working hours isn't clear; you work hard on a farm and an orchard, and the food we received was very little, which makes us feel that the effort isn't worth it; almost every day we had bread with butter for breakfast and for dinner; there isn't much intention from the host to make the volunteers feel comfortable or to give them free time to enjoy the exchange; the house was dirty since she lives with five dogs; she wanted us to clean the house when it was never clean; I don't recommend it πŸ₯²

Sorry that it has been such a bad experience for you; I dare to face the discomfort of your company with a higher perspective. It’s true you didn’t arrive at a moment of abundance, but availability was always there and there was always food on the table. I could say many things about you, but I won’t waste my time on it. Just to summarize, it was like being with a teenager with a bad attitude, but still, thanks, especially for your friend who, although she wasn’t the one who appears in the app, was a great contribution.

An absolutely wonderful experience. Stephanie and Javi are incredible people; their warmth will make you feel at home. I became part of their family while I was in their home. I am grateful for every moment, the learning, experiences and memories shared with them, but above all I want to highlight the love they give day after day to their land and their animals. Country life is hard, but the peace this space offers is priceless. I leave with a full heart and I hope to be able to return on another occasion to enjoy this wonderful place and contribute in the best possible way 🫢❀

Stephanie is a very attentive person who enjoys sharing both her work with animals and culture, as well as other moments, such as cooking and deep conversations. The setting is idyllic and allows you to relax and recharge alongside the animals and nature. However, farm work is aimed at people in good physical shape.
