Description
Concerning food, as we are a free school, it's complicated for us to give free meals. So, we ask for U$ 5 a day in exchange for 3 homemade meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner). You will eat Cambodian food made of local products. Aside, we provide water, coffee, and tea. For transportation to PCEF School, you can take a tuk-tuk for 15$ or a car for 20$ one way.

- You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

- Take free language classes at our place.

The Experience
In this position, you will be in charge to take care of our fundraising strategy. As we don't charge any fees to our students, it's difficult for us to improve the overall infrastructure of the school. We are currently starting our presence on social media. The purpose is to create a community to get support. Tasks : • Create thecontent on Instagram & Tiktok • Create or improve our pot on Crowdfunder • Keep Workaway and Worldpacker updated

I spent 2 weeks with the school and his family and it was by far my favourite thing I've done whilst travelling. His family is so welcoming, Saivon cooks the most delicious meals everyday and his kids are so kind and friendly. Teaching in the school felt so rewarding and all of the school kids made me so happy !

Surpassed all expectations. I couldn't have loved my time at the school and living with the family any more. The students are keen to learn and all have uncapped potential that can be seen during lesson times. I thoroughly enjoyed planning lessons too - extremely rewarding. In addition to this I made incredible relationships with the other teachers and have continued my travels with one of them! Such a beautiful family who are driven and entirely selfless and a joy to be around. You are at home in their home. The experience was the best part of my travel.

It has been the most enriching, joyful and incredible experience for me. It's hard to describe how grateful I am for this experience. I have never met more happy, enthusiastic & grateful children both inside and outside the classroom. I really learned so much from them. Getting to live with the most welcoming family & getting to spend time with other awesome volunteers from all over the world. Incredible! I will miss all the kids, the volunteers, the family, the amazing mangos, teaching & the best Khmer food!! Thank you for being the best host the school & family.

If you are thinking about trying volunteering while in Cambodia this is the perfect place. During our 2 week stay we had a amazing time with the school and his lovely family. Such a wholesome experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives! Can't recommend this place enough and if you are nearby I would definitely take time from your travels and go to the school!
