This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was awesome. Sonia is a force of nature and her story, energy, and commitment are very inspiring. I loved working in the garden and fully enjoyed the beauty and quietness of the place. For me, it was a great way to recharge my batteries and reconnect with nature. Travellers, beware of mosquitoes and other insects, so don't forget to bring some strong repellent. Thank you for everything, Sonia!

A experiência no sítio foi maravilhosa para mim. O lugar é um verdadeiro paraíso para relaxar e trabalhar na natureza. Desde o primeiro dia, Sonia me perguntou o que mais me interessava e, assim, pude lançar o projeto de permacultura, com alguns bons conselhos dela. Nos sentidos muy bien recibidos por Sonia en su hermoso la granja. Fue nuestra primera experiencia de voluntariado en Brasil y la agradecemos enormemente. Ella sabe muy bien cómo guiar el trabajo de siembra, de cuidado de la tierra y de cosecha. El espacio para hospedarse es muy cómodo y siempre hay comida (muy mineira, muito gostosa). Los tiempos de voluntariado son justos y flexibles. Creemos que Sonia tiene un conocimiento profundo de su quehacer, así como una relación cuidadosa y respetuosa con los voluntarios y con la naturaleza. Es una gran maestra y una persona de gran corazón.

¡La experiencia fue hermosa! Doña Sonia es la mejor maestra. Este era mi primer voluntariado con enfoque en agroecología y tener a doña Sonia como guía fue lo mejor. Los días en Ipé fueron tranquilos, con jornadas de trabajo agradables y la comida deliciosa.
