We run a rural house on the Chicamo River in Murcia. It's a nature-filled area where you can breathe clean air and find plenty of tranquility. We need help with the maintenance of the house and garden; we also plan to start a vegetable garden, and we are setting up an area where we have two cave houses to someday host workshops and retreats. My time at the guest house was my first Worldpacker experience - the standards have been set high for the future! The place is magical, so tranquil and a great spot to go on mini hikes in the mountains or by the river. The accommodation was clean and tidy and I even got the experience of staying in a cave for a week which was incredible. The work tasks were easy - from cleaning the guest house to some basic gardening. The host, Santiago, is very welcoming, warm and a kind man who is also a very good cook! My experience here is incredible and very enriching, for many reasons: 1) Thanks to Santiago, who is very welcoming and warm, he always treated me in the best possible way. Always available and helpful: to help me understand Spanish, to teach me how to carry out work tasks and everything else (cooking,visiting...) 2) the house and the surrounding are very beautiful, calm and relaxing ( beautiful landscapes) 3) Santiago, Silvia and Nabilia welcomed me like a member of the family! 4) Martes, the cute cat!

Mi experiencia en Río la casa fue profundamente gratificante. Es un lugar lleno de paz, rodeado de naturaleza y atardeceres que pintan el cielo de colores mágicos. Las actividades que realizamos fueron variadas, divertidas y sencillas, siempre en un ambiente relajado. Santiago, con su gran corazón, nos deleitaba cada día con su deliciosa comida casera, preparada con dedicación y cariño. Aria y Martes, los adorables compañeros peludos del lugar, nos regalaron momentos llenos de alegría y ternura. Sin duda, es un sitio al que me encantaría volver.

La casa Río la casa es un remanso de paz. Santiago tiene un corazón enorme y cocina con amor, sus platos son deliciosos y solían estar acompañados de conversaciones profundas y significativas. El lugar es remoto y rodeado de naturaleza, ideal para reconectar y descansar. Las tareas fueron sencillas, algunas muy reconfortantes. Aria y Martes, los guardianes (perruno y gatuno) del alojamiento, nos llenaron de cariño a diario. Si buscan calma, belleza y buena compañía, este es el lugar. Además, cada día allí nos invitó a bajar el ritmo y apreciar lo simple.
