Gestionamos una casa rural en el río Chicamo en Murcia. Es una zona rodeada de naturaleza donde se respira aire puro y mucha tranquilidad. Necesitamos ayuda en el mantenimiento de la casa y jardín, tenemos planeado también hacer un huerto y estamos acondicionando una zona donde tenemos dos casas cueva para en un futuro organizar talleres y retiros. My time at the guest house was my first Worldpacker experience - the standards have been set high for the future! The place is magical, so tranquil and a great spot to go on mini hikes in the mountains or by the river. The accommodation was clean and tidy and I even got the experience of staying in a cave for a week which was incredible. The work tasks were easy - from cleaning the guest house to some basic gardening. The host, Santiago, is very welcoming, warm and a kind man who is also a very good cook! My experience here is incredible and very enriching, for many reasons: 1) Thanks to Santiago, who is very welcoming and warm, he always treated me in the best possible way. Always available and helpful: to help me understand Spanish, to teach me how to carry out work tasks and everything else (cooking,visiting...) 2) the house and the surrounding are very beautiful, calm and relaxing ( beautiful landscapes) 3) Santiago, Silvia and Nabilia welcomed me like a member of the family! 4) Martes, the cute cat!

Mi experiencia en río la casa fue hermosa, no solo por el espacio ya que es un lugar muy bello sino que también le agradezco a Santiago por hacer que mi primer voluntariado sea tan lindo, es una persona muy amable y pudimos divertirnos y hacer las tareas al mismo tiempo… si buscan un lugar para poder desconectar y estar lejos de la ciudad río la casa es una muy buena opción!

Una muy linda experiencia, Santi es una persona muy servicial, es alguien que aporta mucha tranquilidad y seguridad. Disfruté mucho de las tareas y compartir con otros voluntarixs.
