The Experience

I am an artist and widow and I live on the Gloucester river on a rural, non-farming, bush property of 48 hectares (120 acres). I would like help maintaining the property which is a little run down at the moment. In exchange, I would provide accommodation in a caravan currently next to my home and 3 meals a day. I live near world heritage Barrington Tops. It would help if you could drive. Couples are very welcome. Work would be fairly physical.

Tracey has set a high bar for what to expect from any Worldpacker host. She is very accommodating and the tasks are not demanding. We also got full privacy staying in her caravan. We really feel connected to the nature as well as the local life, exactly what we needed from our trip the farm. She is what she described in her profile, in being flexible and liberal. Definitely a memorable experience for us

I really enjoyed the days I spent with Tracey. Her place is beautiful and I could always decide on what exactly I wanted to work on and everything was really flexible. After my time travelling I was happy to just relax at hers without much excitement going on. We ate and cooked together everyday even though we don't really have the same taste in food and always had good conversations. She also made time for one adventure day during my week there! It was just a good time, thanks for having me Tracey :)

I was in Gloucester for 10 days and I enjoyed every second of it. Tracey is a great host. She is funny, understanding, cheerful, flexible and much more. It's a beautiful property filled with beautiful people and animals, the work is fun as you can really see your results. The sightseeing with tracey is great as well and she even brings her own professional camera in case you cant take good pictures, furthermore she is very good at using technology. I would gladly come back.

I had an incredible time here. I can truly not overstate enough how kind, welcoming, accommodating, and just nice tracey is. I got to meet her family, make friends with her pets, and I really felt at home here. I can recommend staying here to anyone who will listen, if you like nature, pets, the stars you can see at night, wonderful conversation and great company, you will love it.
