The Experience

This volunteering is an educational project with an introspective focus, initiated by Mamos (elders) of the Arhuaco people. Some of the regular activities that the volunteers who visit us take part in: Traditional agriculture (maize, beans, cassava, coffee, cocoa...) Planting trees as part of a reforestation project Bringing in wood from the forest Collecting Coca leaves in the traditional arhuaca way Earthworks Traditional constructions...

Additional Fee Required

Costs : 50 000 COP a day which includes food and accomodation in addition to the personal support from the Mamos (equivalent to more or less 10 to 12 euros)
