I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it, especially for a first volunteering experience!
Dublin is about 1.5 hours away by bus. Eóin and his family are very welcoming and made me feel comfortable very quickly. They are very patient, even with beginner-level English. The work and hours are very reasonable and leave plenty of time to explore the area.
I also made great connections with the other volunteers. Eóin always makes sure we have enough food and that we eat things we enjoy.
Thank you so much, I have very good memories of my stay! ❤️

My first volunteering experience couldn't have been better! Eoin, Marthina, and their children are incredibly kind and welcoming. Their beautiful home is surrounded by nature and just a 25-minute walk from the village with shops and buses to Dublin and the airport. The work is simple (cleaning and gardening), and thanks to Eoin I really improved my English. I planned to stay for one month but loved it so much that I extended my stay by two more weeks. I can't recommend this place enough! 💖

This was my very first time volunteering through Worldpackers, and I couldn't have asked for a better start. Eoin and Marthena were incredibly attentive the whole time – always kind, helpful, and welcoming. The place itself is lovely, perfect for resting and disconnecting, surrounded by green and nature.
