I had such a great time at the hostel. Work was easy, there was always someone to help if we needed. Everything was close by walking. Calm city with nice things to do. I met incredible people. Family dinner was friendly. I recommend this cozy :))

We had such a nice time at the hostel. Everyone was so welcoming, both Helena and the other volunteers. We were always doing something social together, which made it so easy to get into the group. The working hours were respected and chill, and the tasks were easy to complete. The rooms are a little run down though, so if you are looking for a five star hotel, this might not be the place for you. But it was one of the coziest places we have stayed at, and it really felt like home. We really made friends for life, and would go back in a heartbeat!

This was my first World Packers and I loved my time at the hostel!! Almost all of the volunteers during my stay were from different countries so we all go the chance to learn from each other and become a mini family. <3 The work was straight forward and Helena was happy to accommodate if you ever asked for a certain day off, had a problem, etc. Cat, the other manager, was happy to help out or answer any questions we ever had. Everyone was super laid back yet so fun because we worked hard and worked as a team, and then we would all go out together and shared so many laughs and memories. ((:

I had such a great time in Faro! I met a lot of amazing guests and other staff members that became very good friends. The shifts are pretty easy and you have a lot of free time, in which you can explore Faro and the rest of Portugal. Everyone is super helpful and open, so you won't have any trouble socializing. I would recommend this to everyone!
