The Experience

I would recommend this experience to anyone looking to connect with nature and local culture, and live with a wonderful family. John Jairo and Alexandra have created a wonderful place to live and volunteer. They made me feel at home from the beginning and taught me a lot about Colombian culture. They promote a lifestyle that has a good impact on the environment. In my time there I helped with the construction of their house and also helped here and there with cleaning dishes. I learned about what it means to be sustainable and about bees and how to help them expand.
