The Experience

We are a happy family living with our friends – a community in a old farm in Blekinge, Karlshamn. We have a place where you can be yourself truly and we need a lot of hands. We have 30,000m2 field, 20,000m2 forest and meadow. We grow about 80,000 fruit trees and also vegetables, herbs and roses. We have bees and small flock of chicken. We mostly need help in-house and with farm work like weeding, harvesting, fertilizing, digging and maintenance:)

I had a great time at the farm. Everyone in the community was very nice and made sure I had everything I needed. On days off I explored some nearby citys and went on hikes. Unfortuantly, due to off season there wasn't much going on in the cafe, so the main part of the work was cleaning and dishwashing. Nonetheless I would definetly recommend this place and I'm looking forward to come back some time :)

It was my first Worldpackers experience and I really enjoyed my time there! We did a lot of construction work which was something new for me, and I also met some lovely girls. The hosts and everyone working there were so sweet, welcoming and always ready to help. I'm really happy this was my first volunteering experience

I really enjoyed working on the farm, especially the times where we did a lot of construction work. I learned a lot from that. And in our breaks I really loved to cuddle with the kittens and chit chat with the other volunteers.

I was on farm with my friend. It was a nice experience. We met there amazing people. Work was really organized, there was always someone to tell us what we should do. The nature and views were breathtaking. In free time I would recommend long walks in the forest. There is a lot of nice hiking trails. 🌸

My time on the farm and working with the community was lovely! Days were evenly mixed with dedicated work hours and time to explore. Both living on the farm and exploring surrounding nature created such a relaxing and grounded experience. There were also super adorable kittens there during my stay :)) The community was incredibly welcoming and insightful! I loved learning about specific the community techniques used on the farm. A big thank you to everyone in the community!
