The Experience

Every week we will give you your work schedule. The volunteer's role here is basically to help customers with their demands and with housekeeping, but we expect you to help us when needed at reception and breakfast. We want your time here at the hostel to be profitable and pleasant for you and, above all, we want you to enjoy your stay in Fortaleza a lot while you give us a hand. Max hours/week of work: 30hrs, 3 or 2 dayoffs on weekdays.

My experience at the hostel was great!😊 In the beginning it was a challenge to manage a reception for the first time but I really enjoyed working together with everyone! Lucas is a very impressive, hard-working and interesting person, the girls from reception and cleaning are amazing and we had a lot of fun together, I really felt like being a part of the team :) The work was calm and simple and whenever I was a little bit lost they helped me out, are flexible and wanted only the best for my stay on Fortaleza! I recommend the hostel for everyone, guests and volunteers! ☺️

The hostel It is an ideal model for volunteer work. Everything was fine for me here. The location is perfect, the quality is high, and the working hours are very convenient. O the hostel foi o primeiro lugar onde retornei ao voluntariado, não apenas como colaborador, mas também como hóspede, sendo uma experiência marcada por respeito, receptividade e acolhimento 🤝💖. Minhas atividades incluíram a recepção (check-out, orientações) 🛎️, auxílio no café da manhã 🍽️ e pequenas manutenções (jardinagem 🌱 e pintura 🎨). A localização, próxima à praia 🏖️, também é excelente para quem gosta de praticar exercícios físicos à beira-mar 🏃‍♂️🌊. Foi uma experiência bem flexível, o Anfitrião é bem comunicativo, e os funcionários são todos bem animados, o quarto onde fiquei com ar condicionado e aquelas cortinas de privacidade que nas camas, pertinho da praia de Iracema e da praia Beira- Mar, e tudo próximo restaurantes, mercados, farmácias. Enfim as tarefas no hostel é bem simples e ainda se tem dois dias folgas.
